Step-by-Step Guide: Posting and Monitoring Your Job

1. Ensure Your Profile is Up-To-Date

  • A strong company presence will ensure you maximize visibility for the most desired candidates.
  • Have a strong, concise bio that highlights your company
  • Ensure you have multiple projects with verified collaborators so top candidates can get a feel for your company, ensuring no wasted applications (which means no wasted time reviewing).

2. Create Your Posting

  • Navigate to your Jobs board and select “Create Job.”
  • Enter a clear, detailed job description. Highlight the essential responsibilities, desired skills, and what sets your role apart. The more specific you are, the more relevant matches you’ll attract.
  • Keep pay ranges transparent. Nobody likes guessing what you're willing to pay for a role.
  • Specify required skills and any unique project requirements to refine your talent search.
  • Highlight any company perks. Tool allowance? Benefits? Super sweet Christmas party?
  • Once your posting is ready, click “Create Job” to publish it. Your job will immediately appear on your board alongside your other listings.

3. Boost Your Reach

After posting, copy your unique Projekt Network job link (at bottom of job posting) and share it across your social media channels or professional networks. Invite your audience to apply directly through Projekt Network, where their profiles and portfolios will be visible within our platform—keeping your hiring process organized and efficient.

4. Share Your Job Link on Instagram or Facebook

  • Copy the shareable link from your PN Job posting (at bottom of job post).

Via Bio Link:

  • Open your Instagram profile, tap "Edit Profile," and paste your Projekt Network job link into the Website field (bio link).
  • In your next feed post or Story, encourage followers to visit your profile and tap the link in your bio to apply.
  • Example caption: “We’re hiring! Check out the link in our bio for details and to apply through Projekt Network.”

Via Instagram Stories (for accounts with link sharing enabled):

  • Create a Story promoting your job (use visuals or video to highlight the opportunity).
  • Select the link icon (chain) and paste your Projekt Network job URL.
  • Add a call-to-action sticker or text, such as “Swipe up to apply!” or “Tap here to view our open role.”
Via Facebook:
  • Click the icon to share to Facebook and as long as you're logged into your Facebook account a posting will automatically be started so you can share seamlessly

Best Practices:

  • Use relevant hashtags and tag any associated company or industry partners to increase reach. Tag @projektnetwork and we'll share!
  • Highlight what makes working with your team unique—consider sharing insights from your company culture or current projects.
  • Prompt followers to share your Story or post with their own network for additional visibility.

5. Monitor Applications

  • When candidates apply, you’ll receive an email notification for each new applicant.
  • Visit your Jobs board to track open roles and view application counts for each posting.
  • Select any job to review its details, update listing information, or assess candidate submissions as they come in.

6. Review and Shortlist Candidates

  • Open “View Applications” for your chosen posting.
  • Assess candidates based on their profiles, experience, and portfolios.
  • Hot Tip: to quickly assess someone's network, click on "collaborators" while in their profile to view who they have collaborations with.
  • Use the labels “maybe,” “favourite,” or “not selected” to organize your shortlist. Only applicants marked as “not selected” will be notified that they’re no longer under consideration.
  • Best practice: refine your candidate pool to a top group of three to five favourites for interviews as applications grow.
